for years i have wondered… how do you know?

everyone has always said, “when you know, you know.” 

my reply, “what the heck does that mean?!”

….

i finally know. and you know what? everyone is right… you just know.

When I Dance.

cookies…

it’s 3:00am and for some reason i felt compelled to write this. after rehearsal today i got to thinking and remembered something very very important. a thought, a feeling, a one meaningful something that is permanently stored in my heart, but that is sometimes drowned out by other unimportant matters.

cookies, when i dance, i dance for each and every single one of you… the friends that i love, my family. i dance for you to honor each sacrifice you have made for the team, for each bead of sweat that has rolled off your face from every hour and everyday we work. and we freekin’ work… work hard and tirelessly, with no time lost, fueled by determination, passion, love, and drive. i dance for you to honor each memory we have made through each journey we have taken together. i dance for you to thank you for the friendship we have and all the happiness you have brought to my life. i dance for you because your amazing personalities are the reason our medleys come to life and are beautiful works of art. 

when we get on stage and the music comes on…just remember, when i dance, i dance for all of you…you guys are my audience and on the side, i’m your biggest fan. 

i love you guys. :) have a great show!
